"After a while, you tend to forget the reason you’re treesitting. It is a natural reaction. You internalize the political and economic causes for the action because nothing can really challenge the reasoning behind saving the trees. If it wasn’t for legislation drawn up at the last minute, cutting these trees would be totally illegal anyway."
