Abstract

Foreman, Dave, et al., eds. Earth First! 7, no. 6 (21 June 1987). Republished by the Environment & Society Portal, Multimedia Library. http://www.environmentandsociety.org/node/6885.

In this issue of Earth First!, Dave Foreman puts emphasis on the fact that EF! cannot encompass the entire environmental movement, and that he himself does not even agree with everything going on within his own movement. Moreover, this issue features the protests held by EF!ers against MAXXAM Redwood logging, Michael Robinson gives an update about the arrest of eight protesters against the Mountain Lion Hunt in California, and Feral Curmudgeon puts forward “The Earth First! California Deserts National Park Wilderness Proposal.”

"Our Earth First! tribe is a wonderfully diverse movement, and that diversity in abilities, lifestyles, talents, personalities, and even ideas gives us considerable strength."

—Dave Foreman
