Abstract

Foreman, Dave, et al., eds., Earth First! 5, no. 6 (21 June 1985). Republished by the Environment & Society Portal, Multimedia Library. http://www.environmentandsociety.org/node/6860.

In this issue of Earth First! Mike Roselle and Randy Hayes discuss their work on rainforests, Ron Huber describes the events occurring near Pyramid Creek in Oregon, and America’s leading environmental journalist, Michael Frome, is featured. Dave Foreman talks about monkeywrenching and states that:

"It is time for women and men, individually and in small groups, to act heroically and admittedly illegally in defense of the wild, to put a monkeywrench into the gears of the machine destroying natural diversity."
